Overview
OmniAmid MoS² is a high-performance cast nylon enhanced with molybdenum disulfide (MoS²), providing improved mechanical strength, thermal stability and wear resistance. The addition of MoS² improves the material’s crystallinity and reduces its coefficient of friction without compromising dimensional stability. This makes it particularly suited for applications that demand high load-bearing capabilities and low wear under dry-running or marginally lubricated conditions. OmniAmid MoS² performs exceptionally well in rugged environments where long-term durability and strength are essential.
