Overview
OmniAmid MoS2 is a high-performance cast nylon enhanced with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), providing improved mechanical strength, thermal stability and wear resistance. The addition of MoS2 improves the material’s crystallinity and reduces its coefficient of friction without compromising dimensional stability. This makes it particularly suited for applications that demand high load-bearing capabilities and low wear under dry-running or marginally lubricated conditions. OmniAmid MoS2 performs exceptionally well in rugged environments where long-term durability and strength are essential.
