Overview
OmniAmid WAX is a specialized cast nylon enhanced with finely dispersed wax-based lubricants that significantly improve its sliding and wear behaviour. This modification results in a lower coefficient of friction and superior wear resistance under dry-running conditions. OmniAmid WAX is designed for high-load and sliding applications, particularly where external lubrication is not feasible or desired. The addition of wax allows for smoother, quieter operation, reduced maintenance and extended service life in mechanical systems subject to repetitive motion and heavy loads.
