Overview
Ultem® PEI (Polyetherimide) is a high-performance amorphous thermoplastic known for its excellent strength, rigidity and electrical properties combined with high heat resistance. It offers outstanding dimensional stability, low flammability and consistent performance in harsh chemical and high-temperature environments. Its inherent flame resistance and low smoke emission make it especially suitable for aerospace and electronic applications. PEI also maintains its transparency in thin sections, making it suitable for applications requiring visibility along with mechanical strength.
